OUR CLAIMS

All of our body products are soy free, sulfate (SLS) free, paraben free and gluten free. Our soaps are made using traditional ingredients and methods. Therefore, the raw ingredients in our soaps are made using a lard/coconut, tallow/coconut or olive/coconut blend. We use clays to colour our soaps and provide additional benefits to the skin and essential oils to provide scent. We may on occasion use colours or scents that are not as traditional as clays or essentials oils, but this will be noted in the product listing. All other exceptions will be clearly noted on listings for your convenience.

Do you accept wholesale orders / custom soap requests?

Yes! Please email us at homesteadsoapery@protonmail.com so that we can discuss the particulars. Please note for custom soap requests a loaf minimum is required. For wholesale requests, please email to discuss.

Is the price I see under each picture for one bar of soap, or for the amount in the picture?

The prices listed under each variety is per bar. We often show multiple bars of each variety to highlight the slight variations associated with the handmade, artisan nature of our products. As such, weights do vary between products as they are hand crafted and hand cut. We aim to provide as much of this information up front so you can make an informed choice.

Do you offer sample packs?

Not currently but we will. Sample packs are usually made from excess end pieces cut from loaves in preparation for curing. As our line develops and expands, we will have a greater ability to make sample packs for purchase if you are new to Homestead Soapery or using bar soaps.

How do I purchase soaps? When is your next release?

Due to the way handmade soap needs to cure after the saponification process , we will be releasing our soaps in batches and planned releases, at least initially. This will ensure that we are at the forefront of product development (making more of what is good and less of what is not as good) and that we can release a new product line more often. By watching our socials and subscribing to our newsletter, you will have an opportunity to get information on planned releases and dates when they are announced!

Do you ship worldwide?

We will be! Due to COVID-19, we are currently limiting our shipping to Australia only.

Oops! I've mailed my package to the wrong address! Can you send a replacement?

It is your responsibility, as the buyer, to make sure your address is correct and if a mistake has been made, to notify us ASAP via the Contact Us page or email so we can change it on the shipping label, if possible. If it has already shipped and is returned to us, we can invoice you for shipping and resend it once your address has been corrected.

Do you send PR or free goodies to potential customers, Bloggers, YouTubers, Etc.?

How long can I wait to open and use your artisan soaps?

We recommend you use our products within 6 months for the best results, as the color and fragrances may begin to fade after that amount of time. Our soaps will still get you clean after the fragrance and colours are long gone!
